Blame Game

Whenever there’s a high profile domestic violence case in the media people are usually quick to take sides.

To lay judgement on the alleged perpetrator or to view the victim as weak in character for staying in that situation for so long.

Only the two people in the relationship will ever know the truth, the rest is pure conjecture. A perception of someone’s character doesn’t make it true, assumption’s are speculative & easily manipulated.

Situations are viewed through one’s own experiences, blame is laid with the person who displays the least remorse, an ulterior motive or character flaws.

Domestic violence is abhorrent & should be condemned but until all the facts are available it is best to reserve judgement and not let one side commit character assassination by media.
